The origins of Prostrada Catholic Comics
From Superheroes to Saints
Growing up in a Catholic homeschooling family, our founder, Sam Estrada, spent countless hours drawing comic book heroes and dreaming up adventures. Over time, he discovered something even more inspiring than fictional superheroes: the real-life stories of saints whose courage, sacrifice, and faith changed the world.
That realization sparked a lifelong passion for combining art and faith. After years of missionary work and service across multiple countries, Sam returned to his artistic roots with a renewed purpose: creating Catholic comics that make the stories of the faith accessible, exciting, and memorable for young readers.
